José Ortiz, Foundations and Social Advocacy Department, published an article, “Reconceptualizing In Lak’ech: CERF vs. State of California and the Appropriation of Spiritual Learning,” in the Ethnic Studies Pedagogies journal, which he coauthored with Chelsea Stinson, a former Foundations and Social Advocacy Department faculty member. They will also present at the 16th International Conference on Education and Justice.
