Summer Session

Upcoming Deadlines
Registration for courses offered in Summer Session 2025 has closed for all terms.

The deadline to drop a Term D courses is Thursday, July 17 at 11:59 p.m. via myRedDragon.

The deadline to withdraw from a Session II course is Sunday, July 20 at 4 p.m. via the online form. All forms are date stamped when submitted. Any received by the deadline will be processed on Monday.

The deadline to withdraw from a Term D course is Wednesday, July 23 at 4 p.m. via the online form.

Summer Session 2025 Dates

To accommodate busy student schedules, Summer Session includes multiple terms and most courses are 5 weeks long.

June 10 - June 26

Summer Session II
June 30 - August 4

Term C
June 30 - July 15

Term D
July 16 - August 4

*No classes or assignments shall be due in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 26, Juneteenth on Thursday, June 19 and Independence Day on Friday, July 4. 

Please note: A slight change to the end date of Term C and the start date to Term D have been made. All dates are correct effective October 8, 2024.

Tuition and Billing

Summer Session 2025 tuition and fee rates are available through Student Accounts.

Bills for Summer Session 2025 are due on Friday, May 9. All students are billed electronically beginning on April 16. You can view and pay your tuition and fees online through myRedDragon. It is important to check your email and account regularly for changes in charges, financial aid or other billed items. For directions on how to view/print your bill, please see View Your Bill. The Student Accounts Office provides general billing and payment information. Students who do not provide payment by the due date will be deregistered.

Summer Session traditionally features a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses, with several options for General Education, Foreign Language and Writing Intensive at the undergraduate level.
