Available Services will be updated as information is available for summer, given the current situation.  Offices and COVID-19 has been created for a listing of support services as offices operate remotely.

The following services are available at Cortland during Summer Session.

Child Care

The SUNY Cortland Child Care Center is open throughout the year, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. It is open to children ranging from 6 weeks to 5 years of age.  For more information contact the Child Care Center by phone, 607-753-5955, in person in the Education Building, Room 1000 or by e-mailing Stephanie Fritz.

College Store

For your convenience, all required textbooks (new, used, rental and digital editions), school and computer supplies, as well as clothing, & gifts may be ordered on the College Store website, if you have questions, please email customer service at college.store@cortland.edu , or call 607-753-4621 or call the textbook department at 607-753-2090.

Food Service

SUNY Cortland Dining Services is following the COVID-19 restaurant guidelines as outlined by New York State. At this time we do not have any dining facilities scheduled to be open until August. As the State reopens, we will re-evaluate opening dining operations on the campus. ID Cards - to be updated for Summer 2020

Students who have photo ID cards from the spring or fall semesters at SUNY Cortland may use their cards in the summer. New cards are issued by the ASC Office in Neubig Hall. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. To obtain a card, students must be registered and have their college identification number. There is a $10 fee for the card; the fee for replacement cards is $15.

Your ID card is a multifunctional, video-imaged card with electronic verification capability. It provides online access for dining services, vending, library, network print/copy, on-campus laundry service, health service and fitness center access. For on-campus students, the card is also needed for keyless entry to the residence halls.

ID cards are also used to access your Connections account. Connections can be used at on-campus dining facilities, off-campus dining and other partners, the College Store, and vending machines. To learn more about Connections and add money to your account, visit the Connections page on the ASC website.

The Learning Center provides tutoring services for students taking SUNY Cortland courses.

During Summer Session, Nightowl, the online tutoring service, is available for math and writing support. Nightowl tutoring is offered Sunday through Thursday, from 7 p.m. to midnight. For more information, visit the Nightowl website. To get started, submit the Tutor Request form, available during tutoring hours.

Professional Tutoring is also available during Summer Session. Available by appointment, professional tutors can assist with writing, reading,math, chemistry, physics, test-taking, study skills, and time management. Visit the Professional Tutoring webpage for more information, including how to schedule a tutoring session.
