Textbooks are fulfilled through a partnership with eCampus.com. Students are encouraged to place their textbook order at least 1 - 2 weeks prior to the course beginning. For your convenience, all required textbooks (new, used, rental and digital editions), school and computer supplies, as well as clothing, & gifts may be ordered on the Campus Store website. ID Cards

Students who have photo ID cards from the spring or fall semesters at SUNY Cortland may use their cards in the summer. New cards are issued by the Cortland Auxiliary Services (CAS) Office in Neubig Hall. Now through May 14, the office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Starting May 17, the office will be open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. To obtain a card, students must be registered and have their college identification number. There is a $10 fee for the card; the fee for replacement cards is $15.

Your ID card is a multifunctional, video-imaged card with electronic verification capability. It provides online access for dining services, vending, library, network print/copy, on-campus laundry service, health service and fitness center access. For on-campus students, the card is also needed for keyless entry to the residence halls.

ID cards are also used to access your Connections account. Connections can be used at on-campus dining facilities, off-campus dining and other partners, the College Store, and vending machines. To learn more about Connections and add money to your account, visit the Connections page on the CAS website.

Tutoring

The Learning Center provides tutoring services for students taking SUNY Cortland courses and is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

During Summer Session, Nightowl, the online tutoring service, is available for math and writing support. Nightowl tutoring is offered Sunday through Thursday, from 7 p.m. to midnight. For more information, visit the Nightowl website. To get started, submit the Tutor Request form, available during tutoring hours.

Professional Tutoring is also available during Summer Session. Available by appointment, professional tutors can assist with writing, reading,math, chemistry, physics, test-taking, study skills, and time management. Visit the Professional Tutoring webpage for more information, including how to schedule a tutoring session.
