Summer Session Cost and Payment

Summer Session 2026 Tuition and Fee Rates 

Bills will be issued beginning around April 16. Bills for Summer Session 2026 will be due on Friday, May 8. All students are billed electronically. Students can confirm their attendance and view and pay their tuition and fees online through myRedDragon.

Students enrolled in summer coursework can be directed to the Registered Students page (available in late-March 2026) for additional term-specific information.

Summer Session 2026 Dates

To accommodate busy student schedules, Summer Session includes multiple terms and most courses are 5 weeks long.

*No classes or assignments shall be due in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 25, Juneteenth on Friday, June 19 and Independence Day on Friday, July 3.

Visiting Students

Registration for visiting students opens at 8 a.m. on Monday, April 13. Please view the Registration page for more information on non-SUNY Cortland student registration. 

Credit Limits

Please visit the Registration page for more information on credit limits in Summer Session.  We encourage all advisors to submit an approval form for any student seeking 7+ credits in Summer Session. This will ensure associate dean review and avoid potential follow-up with students who enrolled in excess credit hours.
