We welcome all students to take winter classes with us during our two-week winter session in January. The winter session preliminary schedule will be available in August.
All policies, standards and regulations governing study at SUNY Cortland as stated in the College Catalog remain in force during the winter session.
Classes may be canceled due to low enrollment.
Students may register for a MAXIMUM of five (5) credit hours during Winter Session. No exceptions.
If you are a matriculated student here at Cortland, your winter session class will be included in your GPA and be part of your transcript. However, no academic decisions from the fall term will be changed for spring by your winter session grade. If your GPA at the end of the fall term was too low for student teaching, to get into a major, go on an internship, and so on, a winter course grade will not be reported and computed in time to change that decision.
Classes for Winter 2017 will be held Wednesday Jan. 4 to Wednesday, Jan. 18.
Last day to add a class will be Jan. 4.
Last day to withdraw will be Jan. 10.
