Campus tours

Campus tours have resumed on a very limited scale, with an eye towards campus safety. These programs will introduce prospective students to key buildings and the general layout of SUNY Cortland’s campus.

Please note the following: 

  • All visitors will be required to register in advance and to wear face masks for the duration of their visit.
  • Tour groups can be no larger than 10 people and each registrant will be limited to two guests; walk-in registrants will not be able to join tour groups.
  • Tours will take place exclusively outdoors, they will not enter any buildings and they will last approximately 45 minutes.
  • The Admissions Office is operating with limited staffing, so the traditional in-person information session led by a staff member will not take place.

Admissions Q&A webinars

All prospective students are encouraged to register for a weekday Q&A webinar led by an Admissions Office staff member. The webinar offers a short presentation to provide a broad overview of SUNY Cortland.

Topics covered include academic and social opportunities, living on campus and more information about the application process.

The webinar also offers the chance for prospective students to type questions through a chat feature. 

Transfer admissions Q&A webinars

Prospective transfer students also can benefit from a Q&A webinar led by an Admissions Office staff member, geared specifically to the needs for transfer students.
