Upcoming Deadlines
The deadline to withdraw from a Session I course is Monday, Jan. 5 at 4 p.m. via the online form. Visit the registered students page for more information on drops and withdraws.

Registration for courses offered in Session II continues via myRedDragon. Visiting students must first submit the Visiting Student Form, if not yet completed. The last day to add a Session II course is Tuesday, Jan. 6.

The deadline to drop a Session II course is Wednesday, Jan. 7 at 11:59 p.m. via myRedDragon.

The deadline to withdraw from a Session II course is Monday, Jan. 12 at 4 p.m. via the online form. Visit the registered students page for more information on drops and withdraws.

Winter Session 2026 Dates

Winter Session I: December 16, 2025 - January 20, 2026

Winter Session II: January 6 - 20, 2026

Registration begins in late October 2025. Visit the Registration FAQs for specific dates and detailed information.

No class requirements or assignments should be due on Wednesday, December 24, Thursday, December 25, Wednesday, December 31, Thursday, January 1 or Monday, January 19 in observance of the Christmas, New Year and Martin Luther King, Jr. holidays respectively. Administrative offices are closed on these dates. The Winter Session 2026 Holiday Office Availability provides specific hours during the holiday break.

Tuition and Billing

Winter Session 2026 tuition and fee rates are available via Student Accounts.

Bills for Winter Session 2026 will be issued beginning November 10 and will be due Friday, December 5. All students are billed electronically. You can view and pay your tuition and fees online through myRedDragon. It is important to check your email and account regularly for changes in charges, financial aid or other billed items. For directions on how to view/print your bill, please see View Your Bill. The Student Accounts Office provides general billing and payment information. Students who do not provide payment by the due date will be deregistered.

SUNY Cortland Students

SUNY Cortland students are scheduled to register beginning on the following dates. Winter Session registration opens with the Spring 2026 time ticket and pin provided during advisement.
