Parking Operations and Security Services Office


  • Student permits for the spring semester are available for purchase both online and in person. Permits are valid for one semester. If you had a permit for the fall, you need to purchase a permit for spring in order to utilize campus parking facilities.
  • Permit requirements are in effect as posted, however during the Winter Session there is open parking in both the residential and commuter student lots.

Parking at SUNY Cortland

All vehicles that park in SUNY Cortland operated lots must be registered (permitted) with the Parking Operations office.  There are limited areas that do not require registration (for example, metered spaces, Neubig Road).  For more information on parking facilities, please visit the Rules and Regulations page.

The Prospect Terrace Parking Lot is operated by Cortland Auxiliary.  For information about this lot, please visit the Paid Parking at ASC Cortland page.
