Emergency Blue Light Phones

An emergency blue light phone system has been installed on campus to make the reporting of serious incidents easier and quicker. To report an emergency, crimes in progress, or a suspicious person/incident, pick up the receiver or push the emergency button. The University Police Department will answer the phone. Each emergency phone is attached to a light pole or building. A blue light, easily seen at night, hangs over each box. Blue light phone maps are available at the University Police station and the bottom of this page. There are currently 25 emergency blue light phones that can be found throughout the SUNY Cortland Campus.

Please note- Due to the campus-wide lighting project new phones are being installed and the current phones are being taken out of service. New maps will be updated soon.
