Transfer Equivalencies
All transfer course equivalencies are reviewed by academic departments on a regular basis and are subject to modification. Courses not included on a below chart or from a college not listed below are still eligible to transfer, provided they meet all transfer policies. In these cases, courses will be reviewed individually for appropriate Cortland credit.
Enrolled SUNY Cortland undergraduate students must obtain written permission for courses to transfer to SUNY Cortland from their academic advisor and the Transfer Credit Coordinator using the Permission to Transfer Credit form. Permission must be secured in advance of any registration transaction and is only for the semester requested.
Students seeking to complete general education requirements at another SUNY college may search the approved SUNY GE by campus database to choose appropriate courses.
