Fall 2020 Welcome Week

From move-in day to the first day of classes, Welcome Week is designed to help you become part of the campus community and lay the foundation for a successful collegiate experience. Our fun-filled schedule will give you the skills to navigate successfully around campus, the knowledge to become a productive member of the SUNY Cortland family, and the memories that will make your time here fun and meaningful.

We plan to have a full week of Welcome Week activities that include both in-person and virtual events. Our top priority is the safety of you, our students, as well as the campus and local community. We believe that we can accomplish both goals of keeping you safe while making sure you have a smooth transition and make friends. In order to help meet our goals, we will have to make some changes this fall. We will need the participation of every student to help reach those goals by wearing face coverings, practicing good hygiene, and reducing the density at gatherings. 

Each residence hall will have their own schedule and all schedules will include the following activities:
