Apparel and Merchandise

Offices, departments or clubs that wish to add their name with SUNY Cortland logos or marks to apparel items such as polo shirts, T-shirts, jackets, vests hats should follow the guidelines below.

Approved colors

Apparel and other items should reflect SUNY Cortland’s official school colors, which are red and white. You can also print on black, light gray or dark gray.

Alternative colors

Groups or individuals seeking to order apparel in other colors must complete the Alternative Color for Apparel Form, which will be forwarded to the Marketing Committee for review.

Licensed vendors

The university requires that all SUNY Cortland–branded merchandise be purchased from licensed vendors. This ensures that our name, marks and logos are utilized appropriately and in full accordance with established brand standards. Using licensed vendors also streamlines the process for campus partners, as these businesses are responsible for submitting all designs to the Marketing Office for review and approval. Their experience and expertise help safeguard the integrity of the SUNY Cortland brand.

Applications to become a licensed vendor are administered through the Nexus Licensing Group. Additional information is available through BrandComply.
