Geological Field Trips

This is a partial list of published field trips that are accessible from the Brauer Education Center near Albany, N.Y. It is designed to give you a place to start in planning your own educational excursions around the center.

As land use and land ownership change with time, you will want to check out the accessibility of your stops before your planned trip.

Please note that some of the stops in these field trips require the landowner's permission to access the outcrops. Also, be aware of and obey any rules regarding the use of rock hammers and sample collection in the parks.
