Tournament - February 12-14, 2027
Welcome to the landing page for the 2027 NIRSA Basketball Regional at SUNY Cortland! We are excited to host this event as part of the NIRSA Championship Series, which culminates at the National Championship, TBD. SUNY Cortland, along with the city of Cortland, hopes that you and all participants enjoy our second annual NIRSA Championship Regional Tournament!
Tournament Entry Information
- Entry for the tournament will open on Monday, October 5th, 2026.
- All entries will be processed in order of registration time and date.
- We have 32 total spots: 12 for men's, 12 for women's, and 8 for Unified.
- Once each division fills, a waitlist will be created with a queue for teams, and spots re-opening will be filled by order in the queue.
- Slots may open up in divisions if other divisions do not fill by January 11, 2027.
Tournament Fee Information
- Entry to the tournament is $350/team.
- Fees increase to $375 on January 11 should spots continue to be open after that period.
- Waitlist teams enrolled prior to January 11 that fill in relinquished spots will pay the original $350 fee.
- Payments are by check or money order. Please list the recipient as "Cortland Auxiliary Services"
- If other payment methods are needed, please contact TBD.
Refund Information
- If a team drops from the tournament, refunds will operate in the following fashion:
- A full refund for teams that drop prior to December 4, 2026.
- A partial refund of $175 will occur should a team drop between December 4 and January 8, 2027.
- No refund will be issued for team drops occurring after January 8, 2027.
