Summer Session 2025 Dates

To accommodate busy student schedules, Summer Session includes multiple terms and most courses are 5 weeks long.

June 30 - August 4

June 30 - July 15

July 16 - August 4

*No classes or assignments shall be due in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 26, Juneteenth on Thursday, June 19 and Independence Day on Friday, July 4. 

Please note: A slight change to the end date of Term C and the start date to Term D have been made. All dates are correct effective October 8, 2024.

Tuition and Billing

Summer Session 2025 tuition and fee rates will be available through Student Accounts in February 2025.

Bills for Summer Session 2025 are tentatively due on Friday, May 2. All students are billed electronically beginning in mid-April. You can view and pay your tuition and fees online through myRedDragon. It is important to check your email and account regularly for changes in charges, financial aid or other billed items. For directions on how to view/print your bill, please see View Your Bill. The Student Accounts Office provides general billing and payment information. Students who do not provide payment by the due date will be deregistered. 

Courses Offered 

Summer Session traditionally features a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses, with several options for General Education, Foreign Language and Writing Intensive at the undergraduate level. Courses are not guaranteed to repeat each year, but course offerings for prior terms are available in the course schedule.

The Preliminary Course Listing will be available in mid-January 2025, listing undergraduate courses by term and graduate courses by department/program.

Registration 

Registration for Summer Session opens with the fall semester time ticket and pins. Registration dates for Summer 2025 will be announced in November. Please view the Registration page for more detailed information regarding registration, including deadlines for each specific term.
