Summer Session

Upcoming Deadlines

Registration for courses offered in the 10-week term, Session I, or Terms A continues via myRedDragon through Wednesday, May 20. Visiting students must first submit the Visiting Student Form, if not yet completed. The deadline to register for a class is the first day of the term.

The deadline to drop a Term A course is Thursday, May 21 via myRedDragon.
The deadline to drop a 10-week or Session I course is Tuesday, May 26 via myRedDragon.

Registration for all other terms remains open through the first day of the term.

Summer Session 2026 Dates

To accommodate busy student schedules, Summer Session includes multiple terms and most courses are 5 weeks long.

Summer Session II
June 29 - August 3

June 29 - July 14

Term D
July 15 - August 3

*No classes or assignments shall be due in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 25, Juneteenth on Friday, June 19 and Independence Day on Friday, July 3. 

Tuition and Billing

Summer Session 2026 tuition and fee rates are available through Student Accounts.

Bills for Summer Session 2026 are due on Friday, May 8. All students are billed electronically beginning in mid-April. You can view and pay your tuition and fees online through myRedDragon. It is important to check your email and account regularly for changes in charges, financial aid or other billed items. For directions on how to view/print your bill, please see View Your Bill. The Student Accounts Office provides general billing and payment information. Students who do not provide payment by the due date will be deregistered. 

Courses Offered 

Summer Session traditionally features a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses, with several options for General Education, Foreign Language and Writing Intensive at the undergraduate level.
