Important Winter Session Reminders

Welcome to Winter Session 2026!
Thank you for registering for coursework this winter! We hope you have a successful experience and have provided some essential information below.

Confirm Your Attendance and Pay Your Bill

  • Deadline: Bills are due Friday, December 5 for Winter Session.
  • All courses must be paid for prior to the beginning of the term.
  • Please contact Student Accounts with any questions regarding your bill at 607-753-2313.

Dropping a Course
If you no longer plan to take your course, please DROP the course via myRedDragon. This action will ensure you stop receiving phone and e-mail reminders to confirm your attendance or pay your bill.

Verify Course Start Dates
Winter Session is divided into two condensed terms. Please confirm the start date for your course(s) to avoid a late start.

  • Winter Session I: Courses begin on December 16.
  • Winter Session II: Courses begin on January 6.

Accessing Course Content
All courses in Brightspace will open two business days prior to the course beginning. A course syllabus should be available on these dates.

  • Winter Session I: Courses open in Brightspace on December 12.
  • Winter Session II: Courses open in Brightspace on January 2.

Any remaining course content will be available no later than the first day of each term. You may also receive specific details directly from your professor.
