Preparing for Summer Session

Preparing for Summer Session 2024!

Thank you for registering for coursework this summer! We hope you have a successful experience. Information is available in our student welcome that you will find beneficial as you navigate the term.

Here are a few things to consider before leaving campus for the summer . . .

Verify the start date of your course(s)! Courses begin throughout May, June, and July. Session I, Term A and the 10-week courses begin on Wednesday, May 15. Dates are available in the public course schedule, which also includes class meeting times for any online synchronous or in-person coursework.

Prepare now for your summer coursework and ensure you have everything you need before leaving campus!

  • Get acquainted with Brightspace! If you are new to Brightspace, check out the Introduction to Brightspace Video for additional guidance. Students should have access to at least the course syllabus two days prior to the course beginning. Please note that instructors will make their content available as they are ready. If you are enrolled in more than one course, you may not see the materials for all of your courses at the same time.
  • Order your course materials! Textbooks are fulfilled through a partnership with eCampus.com. Students are encouraged to place their textbook order at least 1 - 2 weeks prior to the course beginning.

And if you haven’t done so already, please confirm your attendance and pay your bill! Bills were due Friday, May 3. If you no longer plan to take your course(s), please drop the course via myRedDragon. Please contact Student Accounts with any questions regarding your bill at 607-753-2313.
