Preparing for Summer Session 2026!
Thank you for registering for coursework this summer! Below is essential information regarding confirming your attendance, payment, dropping courses, term start dates and course access.
Confirm Your Attendance and Pay Your Bill
You must confirm your attendance and pay your bill prior to the course(s) starting. Bills were due on Friday, May 8. Questions about your bill? Contact Student Accounts at 607-753-2313.
If you no longer plan to take your course, you must DROP the course via myRedDragon. This action will remove your financial liability. For more information and deadlines, visit the drops, withdrawals and refunds page on the Summer Session website.
Term Start Dates and Course Access
Courses begin throughout May, June, and July. Dates are available in the public course schedule, which also includes class meeting times for any online synchronous, bichronous or in-person coursework.
Course content will become available as follows.
10-week Term, Session I, and Term A
- Brightspace opens on May 18.
- Courses begin on May 20.
Term B
- Brightspace opens on June 5.
- Courses begin on June 9.
Session II and Term C
- Brightspace opens on June 25.
- Courses begin on June 29.
Term D
- Brightspace opens on July 13.
- Courses begin on July 15.
A course syllabus should be available on the Brightspace open date. Any remaining course content will be available no later than the first day of each term. You may also receive specific details directly from the professor.
If you are new to Brightspace, check out the Introduction to Brightspace Video for additional guidance. If you are enrolled in more than one course, you may not see the materials for all your courses at the same time.
Order your course materials! Textbooks are fulfilled through a partnership with eCampus.com. Students are encouraged to place their textbook order at least 1 - 2 weeks prior to the course beginning.
