To serve as a primary resource in developing lifetime connections that will educate, support, and empower students and alumni to individually define and pursue career success.
SUNY Cortland Career Services staff members are committed to promoting equity and inclusion of individuals of all social identities. We acknowledge that biases regarding race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, religion, ethnicity, disability and other identities exist in our society, both implicitly and explicitly. We intentionally strive to identify, discuss and challenge issues of social identity biases and the impact(s) they have on students, employees, and the broader world of work.
Career Services affirms that it is committed to being an anti-racist office in which we will individually and collectively explore and discuss systemic advantage and oppression. We will collaborate with other departments and organizations on campus to support Black, Indigenous, and People of Color and will participate in anti-racism efforts.
