Heart of Gold Weekend

September 12-14, 2025

Enjoy a memorable weekend with recreation alumni from year’s past, and recent graduates from the recreation department. Weekend activities will include time for group activities and individual excursions.

Arrival time is Friday any time from 4-5:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m., followed by an all-group session around an evening campfire. Enjoy conversation, ideas, and of course, roasted marshmallows. Families are responsible for the safety and well-being of their own children. There are no babysitters or lifeguards on site. Families should provide their own child size life jackets. Due to the setting of Antlers, family pets are not permitted.

Lodging

Guests will be assigned to housing according to availability and needs. Showers/tubs and bathrooms are located in most rooms. Please bring your pillow and a light sleeping bag or sheets, blankets and towels. All guests are required to keep rooms in a neat and orderly condition and to leave them in “as good, or better” condition, as there are no janitorial services available. Cleaning supplies and equipment are provided.

Meals

All meals will be served in the Cummings Dining Hall. Breakfast will be served from 7:45-8:30 a.m., lunch at 12 noon, and dinner at 6 p.m. Every effort is made to provide tasty, nutritionally balanced meals. If you or someone in your party has special dietary needs please let us know as soon as possible.

A single telephone is available at Antlers and is used for business and emergency purposes only. In case of emergency, the phone number is 315-354-4631.

Cancellations made at least 3 weeks prior to your stay will receive a full refund of your deposit. Cancellations within the 3 week window to your stay will not be refunded. Guests who do not show up for camp, and do not cancel, will be charged the session fee, and will not be allowed to return until the fee is paid. Please note that we do not prorate the costs for partial stays. Please make all checks payable to SUNY Cortland.

Sponsoring a Student can be done on the registration form. Simply check the box that says “Interested in Sponsoring a Cortland Student for the weekend?” and submit the payment along with your own.

Every effort will be made to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable at Antlers. If we can be of any further assistance prior to your arrival, please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to seeing you!
