Camp Marion

Lean-tos, reservations ongoing

Two lean-tos or open camps are available to SUNY Cortland alumni, faculty/staff, guests and students by reservation. The lean-tos are accessible by water/ice only and are approximately a two-mile paddle/hike from Antlers. Canoes may be rented from Antlers for $15 per day with prior notice. There is no fee associated with the reservation and use of the Camp Marion lean-tos; however, they must be reserved to ensure the lean-to you are hoping to use is available.

Kirby Camp 2022

A remote, rustic cabin located on the South Bay of Raquette Lake, the cabin is rented by the week running from Monday to Sunday. The electric-free getaway sleeps eight.

Alumni Winter Camp: Feb. 18-24, 2022

We will have three options for winter camp: Feb. 18-24, 18-20, or 20-24. Join us for a three-, five- or seven-day stay to ski, snowshoe, relax by the fire, read in the library or whatever you choose. Please note this is an adults-only alumni camp.

Antlers Volunteer Weekend: May 13-15, 2022

Opening camp for the summer season is a weekend to celebrate! Register to help us get Antlers ready for the summer with lots of assorted tasks and clean-up. Everything from garden and lawn work to opening buildings and cleaning facilities is available, so whatever you like to do can be your choice. More information to follow in the spring. Boater Safety and Training Course: June 3-5, 2022

Course will be held June 4-5, 2022, for anyone utilizing our boating equipment for programs at Antlers or Camp Huntington. Arrival will be a Friday evening (June 3) for indoor meetings, and Saturday/Sunday for hands-on learning. Plan to be in the water — bring your own wet/dry suits, paddles, PFD's, etc. We can supply PFD's, paddles and the boats needed. Challenge Course and Ropes Training 2022

During the 2022 season, we will be holding numerous ropes course trainings for individuals and staff interested in leading groups at our challenge course at Camp Huntington. Designed for beginners, intermediate and experienced instructors, the trainings will be geared for either low or high elements. Participants can take part in both trainings (low and high) and can be added to our instructor list as a contact for groups to hire for private challenge course sessions. Antlers Faculty/Staff/Cortland Auxiliary Camp Information

Join fellow workers and friends for a five-day camp at Antlers. Bring your families or friends, and enjoy campfires, paddling experiences, fun games and activities, and warm meals and drinks. Each session allows guests to use canoes, kayaks, bikes, paddleboards, and enjoy afternoons at the beach. Information sheet will be coming in the spring. Costs:

  • Adults $227 per person per session
  • Child age 12 and under $185 per person per session

Antlers Summer Alumni Camp Information

Alumni from all corners of the world are welcome to come and enjoy a vacation in the heart of the Adirondack mountains. Hike, paddle, relax and enjoy our many fireside chats that happen during the camps. Each session has access to usage of the canoes, kayaks, SUP's, bikes and the many acres of Adirondack Preserve to hike and explore. Alumni Craft Camp — New program for alumni (adults only): Aug. 26-31, 2022

  • Cost per adult - $396 (includes room, board, and all craft supplies).

Camp Huntington Alumni Camp: July 1-5, 2022

A long weekend to spend time with your family or friends in the beautiful Adirondacks. We have miles of hiking trails, kayaking, canoeing, relaxing by an evening campfire and much more.

Hearts of Gold Alumni and Student Weekend: Sept. 16-18, 2022     

Join us for a gathering of recreation alumni with graduating recreation students for a weekend at Raquette Lake. We will be paddling, playing and mentoring in this exclusive weekend where seasoned alumni in the recreation field come back to join forces with graduating recreation majors to help give them a leg-up as they enter the workforce.  Young alumni are very much encouraged to attend.

Antlers Volunteer Closing Weekend: Sept. 30-Oct. 2, 2022

Plan to spend another weekend at Antlers and close up our building for the winter months. There will be many tasks, lots of fun and possible projects to complete depending on weather and temperature. More information will follow over the summer summer when we know what projects we may be doing. Put the date on your calendars, and contact Deb Faylo to register to help (space is limited).

Camp Huntington Fall Cleanup

Join us to help transition Camp Huntington to our winterized state. We will provide meals and jobs for every skill level will be available from raking to swapping screens for storm windows, from trail maintenance to washing wall to swapping seasonal recreation equipment.
