Multicultural Life and Diversity Office
The Multicultural Life and Diversity Office (MLDO) plays a crucial role in fostering a living, learning and working environment that encourages all members of the SUNY Cortland campus to engage in promoting dialogue, collaboration, and community building around the intersections of personal and social identities in relation to diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice. MLDO collaborates with campus partners to sponsor cultural and intercultural speakers, events, activities and workshops, and provides training and guidance to students, faculty and staff with the aim of promoting skills and knowledge to advance their personal, cultural, intellectual, and social development to work toward building a more inclusive campus climate.
International Programs Office
The International Programs Office fosters cross-cultural understanding and global awareness through study abroad and exchange opportunities for students, faculty and staff and provides support services for international students during their time at SUNY Cortland.
Disability Resources Office
The Disability Resources Office (DRO) leads SUNY Cortland’s commitment to create a diverse, accessible, and socially just community by collaborating to eliminate barriers so all members of the campus community have equal access and by advocating for accessibility, inclusion, visibility, and disability justice.
Title IX Office
The Title IX Office coordinates support and response for individuals impacted by sexual harassment, sexual violence, bias incidents, and discrimination. The Title IX Office provides information about reporting options, offers supportive measures, and collaborates with campus partners on prevention and education efforts intended to advance SUNY Cortland’s commitment to equal employment, educational opportunity, and equal access to services, programs, and activities without regard to an individual's race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, disability, gender, pregnancy, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, predisposing genetic characteristics, marital status, familial status, veteran status, military status, domestic violence victim status, reproductive healthcare choices, or criminal conviction status.
