Spring 2026 - SUTEC (New York City and Boroughs) Student Teaching Dates
(All to be discussed at the mandatory orientation for students going to NYC area)
Mandatory Orientation: January 20, 2026
Time: 10:00 a.m. - Noon
Hybrid : Zoom or SUNY Global Center - More information is to come from SUTEC.
Location: SUNY Global Center (116 East 55th Street, between Park and Lexington Avenues)
Notes: All SUTEC students must follow the SUTEC calendar unless specifically given alternate directions by the SUTEC Director.
Additionally, the NYC Department of Education (NYCDOE) official calendar must be followed, regardless of campus closures.

Student Teachers with quarterly placements in different schools, please remember to give a copy of the previously submitted Emergency Contact Form to the school nurse if you are in a new school building during 2nd half of the semester. |

When submitting they will automatically go to the SUNY Cortland Manager to maintain confidentiality and anonymity of feedback. Information is shared anonymously and confidentially with the Educational Unit maintaining program excellence. |
