Website: Seven Valleys Writing Project

I direct the Professional Writing Program and the Seven Valleys Writing Project, two ways to make writing more accessible to teachers and students as a way to learn in any area, from science to myth.  I study rhetoric (our intentional and strategic uses of writing).  I also study the historical development of writing and how people and groups develop and sustain a writing practice.
