Science Writing Microcredential

This microcredential prepares students to have both the scientific knowledge and advanced writing skills necessary for effective science communication. Ideal for students interested in careers in writing, editing, policy, health, research, and advocacy work. Open to all majors.

  • Compose clear, accurate prose to explain scientific concepts, evidence, and processes.
  • Compose rhetorically effective documents in a range of commonly used genres for science communication.
