About the Award
This endowed, named award will be given to a faculty or professional staff member whose record of research achievements are deemed outstanding among others on this campus. Evidence for research achievements may include accomplishments in all the creative and performing arts as well as traditionally considered scholarly productivity and publications. The Awardee will be selected based upon at least five years of research related activities at SUNY Cortland. This award was previously called Outstanding Achievement in Research Award.
Nominations
A letter of recommendation from the nominator, along with a letter of support from the Department Chair or School Dean (for faculty), or from the Director or Division Head (for librarians and professional staff) and a vita. The College Research Committee serves as the recommending body to the Provost for awardee(s).
