CAEP Accredited Provider - Excellence in Educator Preparation AccreditationThe teacher preparation programs at the State University of New York College at Cortland are accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP, formerly NCATE). CAEP is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation to accredit programs for the preparation of teachers and other professional school personnel.
