This year's common read is Marjane Satrapi's Persepolis. An award-winning memoir in graphic novel format, Persepolis tells the story of Satrapi's life as a young girl living behind the "wall" of the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran.
Students will have opportunities to join a conversation about Persepolis. Academic Peer Mentors will be inviting faculty members to the residence halls this fall to lead hour-long informal discussions about the book.
