SUNY General Education Framework 2022 

The new SUNY Cortland General Education Program will be implemented for the 2023-24 academic year. All student learning outcomes (SLOs) need to be updated to reflect the new program SLOs for the fall 2023 semester. General Education assessment will resume starting fall 2023, reflecting the new program SLOs.  

General Education

The General Education (GE) Committee reviews and recommends established departmental courses for inclusion in the SUNY Cortland General Education Program. Proposals are submitted using Curriculog and will be routed via the approval process to the GE Committee.  If recommended, the proposal will be forwarded to the Provost for campus approval.
