Institutional Equity and Inclusion Office Sponsorship Request
The Institutional Equity and Inclusion Office is proud of the many initiatives and events that SUNY Cortland faculty, staff and students lead each academic year with the aim of creating space for community building, education, celebration and/or skill building. IEI receives many requests throughout the year to financially support these efforts but is unable to provide funding for all of them. To help ensure support is awarded equitably, IEI uses an application process intended to allow us to support a greater number of campus partners (departments, offices, organizations, or committees) and to allocate funding amounts more consistently. This process also allows us to identify when our office can provide additional guidance or support to ensure campus partners understand the timelines and documentation required to ensure state funds can be used to pay certain types of expenses (e.g., catering or guest speakers).
Campus partners may submit a request for funding to support a campus event or initiative.
