Outreach Services

SUNY Cortland is proud to serve the surrounding area with these outreach services:

• Access to College Education: Developed in 1989, Access to College Education (ACE) is a unique consortium of four institutions: Cornell University, Ithaca College, SUNY Cortland and Tompkins Cortland Community College, working in partnership with local school districts to provide extensive college and career readiness programming throughout the year.
  
  
• Liberty Partnerships Program: The Liberty Partnerships Program (LPP) has been included in the New York State Education Department's Statewide Plan for Higher Education as part of its strategy to maximize the successful transition of middle and high school students who are at risk of dropping out of school into graduates, fully prepared for the rigors of higher education and the competitive demands of a fluid workplace in a global economy.
  
  
• Migrant Education Tutorial and Support Services Program: The Migrant Education Tutorial and Support Services (METS) program began in 1979 to assist school districts in meeting the unmet, unique needs of migrant children.
