Atom Grants
SUNY Cortland has partnered with Atom Grants, an AI-powered platform that matches researchers with relevant funding opportunities based on your research interests and expertise. It searches across federal agencies, foundations, and other funding sources to find grants tailored to you. Unlike traditional keyword-based searches, researchers can now find relevant funding opportunities by using natural language descriptions of their research—including the ability to input abstracts from existing papers directly into the search system. The platform automatically generates researcher profiles by analyzing existing public outputs, delivering personalized weekly email alerts with matching opportunities. Additionally, powerful AI features assist throughout the application process by extracting key requirements, generating submission checklists, and automatically assessing eligibility criteria, ensuring researchers can focus more on their work and less on administrative tasks.
