Sustainability

Residence Life and Housing has made a commitment to be a leader on campus in sustainability. We live out that commitment in a number of ways:

• Two LEED certified residence halls: Dragon Hall and Glass Tower Hall
• Our Green Rep program
• Satellite boiler project
• Single-stream recycling in the residence halls
• Washers and dryers
• Green roofs on Fitzgerald Hall and Randall Hall
• Bike racks at every building
• CFL and LED light bulbs in residence halls and student rooms
• Solar Roof Panels
• Sustainable residence hall furniture

Our newest residence hall, Dragon Hall, recently received LEED platinum certification. Built in 2013, Dragon Hall, was named by the SUNY Cortland community.
