In order to be authorized to rent any watercraft from Outdoor Pursuits you must first:

  1. Watch the Paddling Orientation Video below
  2. Obtain a free Paddling Orientation Membership through our Outdoor Pursuits Center Staff

Once you obtain the Paddling Orientation Membership, you are good to check out any watercraft equipment that is available to rent.  The purpose of the orientation video is to provide you with resources to be best informed prior to going out and paddling.  The video by no means makes you an expert and does not serve as a certification for any type of paddling.  Outdoor Pursuits encourages all renters to receive professional instruction on all equipment and know how to use the equipment prior to renting.
