Mental health for college students, especially for men of color, needs to be critically addressed. Join the Multicultural Life and Diversity Office, the Multicultural Male Initiative, and the Institutional Equity and Inclusion Office for a discussion led by Dr. Sim Covington, Chief Diversity Officer and Dean of Student-Athlete Development at Finger Lakes Community College on Friday, Feb. 7 from 4 – 6 p.m. in the Corey Union Fireplace Lounge. Given challenges across the national landscape pertaining to implicit and explicit bias, this presentation will explore the experience of men of color in relation to mental health and the collegiate experience. Food and beverages will be provided.
