JoEllen Bailey


Dr. JoEllen Bailey joined the SUNY Cortland faculty in 2002 after teaching and coaching in both higher education and public schools in Minnesota and Wisconsin. She has taught courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level, supervised student teachers, and coordinated the physical education study abroad program for student teaching in Australia. She has served on multiple department, university, state, and national committees. Dr. Bailey received the Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2009, and the SUNY Cortland Outstanding Achievement in Service Award in 2016. She is currently teaching online courses in a part-time status.
