These institutional scholarships are awarded to the College’s top applicants, which means they are extremely competitive.
It is important to note that meeting the minimum scholarship criteria listed below does not guarantee a student will earn an award. Students must meet both the unweighted grade point average and test score criteria. Consideration also is given to factors such as rigor of coursework and patterns in academic performance.
There is no separate application for merit scholarships; students are considered for these awards after they apply to the College and all materials are received. Students who earn a merit scholarship are notified at the time of admission in their acceptance letter.
Amount: $4,700 per year
Minimum criteria: 95 unweighted GPA and 29 ACT or 1300 SAT
Amount: $3,000 per year
Minimum criteria: 93 unweighted GPA and 27 ACT or 1200 SAT
Amount: $2,000 per year
Minimum criteria: 93 unweighted GPA and 24 ACT or 1100 SAT
