Federal Work-Study (FWS) is a federally funded financial aid employment program. Eligibility is based on need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the availability of funds at the time of application. FWS funds are not applied directly to a student’s bill. Instead, the student works and receives a weekly paycheck for services rendered.
