The payroll office administers all aspects of three New York State payrolls and is dedicated to serving its campus clientele in full compliance with Federal, State and University/College regulations and procedures.
Responsibilities include
- Processing the faculty/staff, student, and work-study payrolls through the SUNY HR/PAYSR online system.
- Auditing all classified service timesheets and verifying all overtime, holiday pay.
- Administering personnel transaction authorizations provided by the Human Resources Office.
- Preparing unemployment insurance forms.
- Maintaining the Time and Attendance (TAS) online module.
- Administering all tax withholding and other payroll deductions via the online PAYSR network.
- Verifying student I-9 eligibility and maintaining permanent I-9 files.
