Employees working at least half-time can receive 50% tuition reimbursement for courses taken at SUNY institutions, for up to two courses per semester. Applications are available in the Human Resources Office.
The UUP Tuition Waiver allows eligible UUP employees to enroll in one course (up to 4 credit hours) per semester for free tuition, space permitting. Employees are responsible for any course fees. Applications are available in the Human Resources Office.
Eligible employees can receive a voucher for one credit-bearing course (up to 4 credits) at the resident tuition rate, capped at $305 per credit. Alternatively, they may choose either tuition for one non-credit course (up to $1,220) or one Excelsior College fee (up to $1,220). Unlimited reimbursement is available for credit-by-exam fees through CLEP, DANTES, TECP, and Excelsior College. All fees beyond tuition provided are the employee’s responsibility. The M/C Tuition Reimbursement program offers employees up to 75% reimbursement for credit or non-credit courses, with a maximum of $1,750 per fiscal year. Eligible employees need six months of continuous employment and must work at least half-time. Course registration fees are reimbursable up to $100, and lab fees up to $75 per course. Full-time employees can be reimbursed for 50% of tuition, registration, and lab fees for eligible courses, up to $600 per fiscal year. Eligible employees need six months of continuous employment. PS&T (PEF) Tuition Assistance provides eligible employees up to 6 PSTP tuition vouchers per fiscal year for courses at accredited institutions. Employees must cover tuition costs.
