Vaughn Randall's objects were produced from various materials. His works reflect a background in industrial design model making, wood pattern making, interest in boat construction, and mastery in the foundry trades. Sculptures, Hub, 2021, Silicon bronze, 20 x 20 x 5 1/2 inches; Anemone, 2021, Wood and epoxy resin, 17 1/2 x 22 x 9 inches; and Folly, 2020, Cast iron, 36 x 36 x 90 inches, are on view until February 25 at the Hallway Gallery.
In addition, two large-scale cast iron sculptures are on view outside of the Dowd Fine Arts Center. A piece titled Wedge is placed on the southeast corner of the building, and Clove stands on the northwest sculpture pad.
