Calendar Event

The Multicultural Life and Diversity Office, Career Services, SUNY Cortland Alumni Association, Institutional Equity and Inclusion Office, and the University Police Department are hosting Creating a Network of Support Between the Community and Law Enforcement.

There will be a panel discussion with representatives from different federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, followed by a networking session. 

Attendees will get to know their federal, state, and local law enforcement partners, the career path of law enforcement, how to create a network of support between the community and law enforcement,  and how diversity, equity, and inclusion are interwoven with policing.

This event will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Corey Union Exhibition Lounge.

Everyone is welcome to attend. Heavy Hors d’Oeuvres will be provided. 

The law enforcement agencies in attendance are: Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), New York State Police, City of Cortland Police Department, Cortland County Sheriff's Office, and SUNY Cortland University Police Department.
