Community of Practice: Vibe Coding OER Tools for Learning

Supported by a $30,000 IITG grant, this Community of Practice invites instructors to explore "vibe coding" — building functional tools using AI assistants like Claude, with little or no traditional coding background — to create open educational resources (OER) for their courses. Participants will learn to prototype interactive learning tools, experiment with AI-assisted development workflows, and walk away with OER resources they can use in their own teaching.

The group meets five times across the Fall and Spring semesters, with an expected time commitment of about 80 hours over the course of the year, and includes a stipend for participation.
