Signage and door hangers now available
Campus spaces are adapting as we continue to prioritize health and safety. To assist with this transition, an array of pre-made and custom signs are available for your area free of charge. The signs are self-adhesive and removable. Temporary options such as "In a meeting" or "At lunch" also are available as door hangers.
Please order your sign and door hangers through these forms rather than printing them yourself. Your utilization of official SUNY Cortland signage will assist in creating a clear, unified message across campus.
Your signs will be completed in approximately three business days. For more information, please contact Chris Tucker in the Duplicating Center.
Pre-made options
These cover common topics or modifications related to COVID-19, including maximum capacities, one-way direction instructions, basic arrows, limited elevator use and guidance for accessing personnel. You may also select reminders for face coverings, physical distancing and handwashing or sanitization.
Please note: You will be required to log into myRedDragon.
Custom requests
If you need a sign for your area other than the pre-made options, you may request a custom sign that can range from short sentences or phrases to a list of guidelines.

FAQs and guidelines
How much should I order?
Please keep your order to the minimum required for your workspace.
Note: Overuse can have the opposite of the intended effect, causing the reader to experience signage fatigue or to "tune out" posted signs. Please keep this in mind when selecting quantities and locations.
Can I order more if I need additional signage later?
Yes. You may fill out the above forms again to receive additional signage.
Where should it be placed?
Signage can be placed anywhere in your workspace you deem necessary. The product will adhere to any surface and can be removed with little to no damage to what it is adhered to.
Note: Overuse can have the opposite of the intended effect, causing the reader to experience signage fatigue or to "tune out" posted signs. Please keep this in mind when selecting quantities and locations.
How does it adhere/display?
Most signs are similar to a sticker. Peel backing from signage and apply firmly to the desired surface.
Signs for "at lunch" or "in a meeting" will be on door hangers so they can be hung and removed regularly.
Is it reusable?
Signage can be reused if it is removed carefully and not damaged.
Can you recycle any parts of the signage?
No parts of the signs are recyclable.
