Congratulations on joining the SUNY Cortland community! Now that you have paid your admissions deposit, complete the following steps to make your transition here as smooth as possible.

Complete your Immunization Form and Health History Form and return them to the Student Health Service Office. |

Students with disabilities |
If you are a student with a disability, complete the Self-ID Form and return with the required documentation to the Student Disability Service Office. |

Housing |
Complete your Housing Preference Form in myRedDragon or complete the New Student Off Campus Approval Form. |

Orientation Registration |
Register to attend an Orientation (first-year students) or Transfer Transition Seminar (transfer students) through myRedDragon. |
June 3 |
|
Financial Aid |
Review and accept/decline your financial aid award letter through myRedDragon. Be sure to regularly review the financial aid checklist. (Note: only U.S. citizens and permanent residents are eligible for federal financial aid.) |
You will be notified by the Financial Aid Office when your award letter is ready. |

Course Registration |
First-year students complete your Course Preference Form and transfer students complete the Transfer Information Sheet. Return to Advisement and Transition. |
June 3 |

AP, IB, CLEP and College Course Credits |
Request your AP, IB and CLEP exam scores and college transcripts to be sent to SUNY Cortland, Admissions Office, P.O. Box 2000, Cortland, NY 13045. Also bring copies to Orientation. |

|
Transcripts |
Submit your final high school transcripts to the Admissions Office, P.O. Box 2000, Cortland, NY 13045. Final transcripts should clearly identify your date of graduation, if applicable. |

Orientation |
Attend Orientation or Transfer Transition Seminar to register for courses. (International students will receive information from the International Programs Office about your separate, mandatory Orientation program.) |

Become familiar with the Code of Student Conduct and understand your rights and responsibilities as a member of the campus community. |

Clubs |
Complete the clubs and organizations survey so that you can learn about how to get involved and meet people. |

Purchase a parking permit if you plan to have your car on campus. |

Reprint your semester course schedule in case of any course changes (locations, instructors, etc.). |
