Faculty and staff are invited and strongly encouraged to participate in all of the ceremonies and activities that take place during Commencement weekend.
Faculty and staff presence at the ceremonies will not only provide support for all graduates, but also recognize those students in the Class of 2020 with whom you have had a special association.
Faculty and staff wearing regalia may either march in the ceremonies or serve as marshals. The President’s Office will pay for anyone needing to rent regalia. You may rent regalia online through the College Store.
All faculty and staff are invited to sit in front of the stage for Commencement. Regalia is preferred and will be required for those wishing to march during the processional and recessional. A special pass will be provided for access for any faculty or staff that wants to attend and not process. These passes with entrance and seating instructions will be emailed to you from the Special Events Office approximately two weeks prior to the ceremonies.
Faculty and staff who will not be wearing regalia or marching during the ceremonies should arrive one hour before the ceremony.
To indicate your participation in Honors Convocation, Undergraduate Commencement (A, B, C) and Graduate Commencement, please submit your selections through the online registration form.
