Undergraduate Commencement Ceremonies

Saturday, May 11, 2024, Park Center Alumni Arena

  • Ceremony A: 9:30 a.m
  • Undergraduate reception: 11 a.m., Lusk Field House
  • Ceremony B: 2:30 p.m.
  • Undergraduate reception: 4 p.m., Lusk Field House
  • Ceremony C: 7 p.m.

Undergraduate Degree Application

To graduate, you must apply for your degree regardless of participation in the Commencement ceremony. Degree application is accomplished through myRedDragon.

You may apply for your degree now through March 1 for your name to appear in the printed program.

Once at myRedDragon, do the following:

  1. Enter your ID and password.
  2. Select the "Student" tab.
  3. Navigate to the "Registrar" block.
  4. Scroll to "Degree and Conferral Information."
  5. Select "Undergraduate Degree Application." 
  6. At prompt for Commencement participation, indicate whether you plan to attend a ceremony.
  7. If additional information is needed, please refer to the Degree conferral application process.

2024 Ceremony Assignments

Student ceremony assignments are based on the department of their primary major. Students may refer to the Student Information Summary available in the Student Links channel of myRedDragon to determine their primary and secondary major departments.

The assignment of departments to a particular ceremony will rotate each year. Ceremony assignments for departments also may vary depending on fluctuations in departmental enrollment. Ceremony assignments are shown below:

Ceremony A, 9:30 a.m.

Ceremony B, 2:30 p.m.

Note: Ceremony assignments may be subject to change.

Rehearsal

Attend rehearsal Friday, May 10, at 2:30 p.m. in the Park Center Alumni Arena. Instructions for the day of the ceremony, including line-up procedures, will be provided. All candidates for graduation are encouraged to attend. Rehearsal will last approximately 30 minutes.
