Diploma Covers

Details regarding the purchase of diploma covers is forthcoming and will be shared when available.  The diploma cover will be handed to you as you walk across the stage. It has no resale value. 

Diplomas

The official SUNY Cortland diploma is not presented at the Commencement ceremonies; a diploma cover is presented.

Diplomas will be mailed to the student approximately two to three months after all degree requirements are met, including student teaching, internships and comprehensive exams for graduate students.

  • Students completing coursework in December will receive diplomas in February.
  • Students completing coursework in May will receive diplomas in August.
  • Students completing coursework in August will receive diplomas in November.
