Commencement will be held in four separate, indoor ceremonies, including a Friday evening graduate event.
The schedule is as follows:
All Commencement ceremonies will be held in the Bessie L. Park Class of 1901 Physical Education and Recreation Center Alumni Arena
Student Ushers are responsible for assisting in various roles such as scanning tickets, assisting guests, checking in graduates, etc. Students who serve as an usher for the 2018 Commencement ceremonies will earn extra tickets for their future graduation ceremony. The number of additional tickets received will be dependent on the ceremonies for which a student serves as an usher.
Students interested in serving as a student usher must fill out the Student Usher Volunteer Form. (Posted Spring 2018)
The form which can be accessed through the hyperlink above, provides additional information regarding extra tickets. The opportunity to be an usher is open to all students who are not walking in the 2018 commencement ceremonies.
For additional information, concerns or questions, please contact Special Events Coordinator for the President's Office, Samantha Howell at or 607-753-5453.
Thank you for your interest in serving the College in this capacity. We could certainly not pull off an event of this magnitude without your assistance!
