Every five years, classmates come together to celebrate their undergraduate experience at Reunion. As part of the celebration, alumni are asked to contribute to the College as part of their class or affinity group’s gift.

Your contributions are powering student life and learning at SUNY Cortland, helping to maintain and enhance the Cortland experience with scholarships, undergraduate research, athletic and cultural arts resources and a range of initiatives that might not otherwise be funded.

Gifts for all purposes –The Cortland Fund, capital and endowment gifts and planned gifts – count toward reunion giving goals. Classmates are asked to make a gift in celebration of this important milestone to support the next generation of SUNY Cortland students. Gifts, at any level, are very important. Reunion gifts allow the College to provide more resources for exceptional educational experiences on campus.

Classes compete for the following awards which are presented by the Cortland College Foundation:

• The Cortland Cup is awarded to the reunion class with the largest total reunion class gift to SUNY Cortland.
• The Presidents Cup is awarded to the reunion class with the largest unrestricted reunion class gift to The Cortland Fund.
• The Foundation Directors Cup is awarded to the reunion class with the highest percentage of participation in giving.
